Checkers & Cubes
Blazer: BCBG Max Azria (similar here), Top & Shorts: Via Ebay, Earrings: H&M, Bracelets: Capwell & Co. c/o, Ring: Wildbutterfly Boutique c/o, Sunnies: Burberry, Bag: Prada, Shoes: Steve Madden Sometimes a simple black and white look is just what a gal needs to get through a busy day in the city. I paired checkered shorts with a black and white printed top for a fun look with mixed prints. The pajama dressing trend has been huge lately and I would say that this is my dressed up version of it. I hope you are having a great week so far! Thanks for stopping by! Xo -Elizebeth |

Style Challenge: New York Fashion Week
Jacket: Vintage, Dress: BCBG Max Azria, Earrings: H&M, Bracelets: IN Pink & Capewell & Co., Sunnies: Charlotte Russe c/o, Bag: Vintage Gucci, Shoes: Charles David It's Monday and I'm so excited to be sharing with you another great Fashion Challenge. I've partnered with 7 of my favorite So Cal bloggers to bring you New York Fashion Week inspired outfit posts. You may remember our other challenges here for Coachella and here for Maxi Skirts. These are a fun way for us to share new blogs with you and to challenge ourselves to get a little more creative with our fashion choices. I decided to pair a ladylike lace dress with a vintage vest to put a fun spin on it. Last season when I attended the shows at Fashion week I wore mainly vintage pieces with a few trendy brands mixed in. I think it's a great way to ensure that you're wearing something totally unique and statement making. Be sure to check out how Kier, Laura, Melanee, Joann, Jamie & Melissa, and Kimberly styled their NYFW looks! Have a great Monday! Xo -Elizabeth |

Stand Tall
Vest: Elizabeth & James, Shirt: Style Lately c/o, Pants: H&M, Earrings: H&M, Bracelets: Capwell & Co., c/o, Watch: Michael Kors, Necklace: via Nordstrom Rack, Shoes: Guess, Bag: Urban Expressions Happy Sunday! Today, I paired pretty printed pants with a graphic tank and threw in a black vest to add balance and structure. I love the message on this tank "we will stand tall" so simple and yet so inspiring. It must be quite obvious by now, that I'm definitely a girl who loves prints. Sure, some days I'll put on head to toe black for a chic and easy look, but most of the time I love wearing vibrant colors and prints. So much so that recently I had to pull clothes for a commercial shoot (seen here) and I wasn't allowed to wear any stripes, bold prints, or bright colors (typical when filming). I looked in my closet and had to bypass all of my favorite things. It's funny how we become so set in our personal style. So I think it's important to make a point to push yourself just a little out of your comfort zone. On another note, I love it so much that you all stop by to visit my blog on such a regular basis, and that you take the time to leave wonderful thoughts and comments. I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart and I would absolutely love if you could take a moment to subcribe. That just means entering your e-mail address in the box in the upper right corner. I really appreciate your support. I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Xo -Elizabeth |

Light weight summer scarves are perfect for adding a pop of color or print to any outfit. Today, I styled two casual looks and accessorized them with chic Charlotte Russe infinity scarves both priced under $12! In the first look, I paired distressed denim with a silky blue blouse and pointed toe pumps and topped it off with a chevron print scarf. While in the second look, I paired a black and white striped crop top with a high waisted skort, a mint colored bag, and an Ikat print scarf. Also, if it's too hot to wear around your neck you can always just tie it around the handle your favorite bag. Scarves can be worn a multitude of ways. How do you like to style yours? Thank you so much for visiting! Xo -Elizabeth |

Patterned
Blazer: BCBG Max Azria, Pants: Charlotte Russe c/o (similar here), Sunnies: Charlotte Russe c/o, Earrings: H&M, Bag: Via Ebay, Necklace: Via Fairfax Flea Market, Shoes: Steve Madden Happy Tuesday everyone! For today's look I paired bold printed pants with a royal blue blazer and strappy black sandals. Beaches & Bows
Top: Necessary Cothing c/o, Skirt: Charlotte Russe c/o, Bag: Charlotte Russe c/o, Earrings: H&M, Bracelets: Charlotte Russe, Necklaces: Veronica M boutique & My Monogram Necklace c/o, Shoes: Charlotte Russe c/o, Ring: Cache Photos by Ryan I had the loveliest time hanging out and snapping photos in Manhattan Beach with my dear friend Ryan Chua. But a day beachside can definitely wreak havoc on a girl's hair. There's just something about the salt water air. Oh well, I guess the sweeping ocean views make up for it. You can see more great photos on his blog here. I hope you have a great weekend. Xo -Elizabeth |

Sweater: Liz Claiborne (on sale here) via JC Penney, Skirt: Guess (similar here), Belt: Vintage, Bracelets: Charlotte Russe & ASOS, Bag: Forever 21 (available here), Earrings: Forever 21 (similar), Shoes: Christian Louboutin Three hundred seventy-seven blog posts later and I am so thrilled that what started as a little creative outlet has turned into not only my fashion diary, but a place for others to come and find inspiration. My goal in starting this blog was to do just that and I'm so thrilled to be able to say that I accomplished it. Every time that I read an e-mail or a comment saying that someone feels inspired by me I get this warm and fuzzy feeling and I can't help but smile. It's so exciting to be able to share you passion with others and even more exciting when that passion turns into a career. For the past year and a half I have scurried home on my lunch break to set up my tripod and shoot my daily outfit photos. Today, I am excited to announce that I am a full time fashion blogger and stylist and unfortunately, there with be no more lunch break photo shoots. I know I mention it after almost every post, but I really am so happy that you all take the time to visit my fashion blog and I am thrilled to have come this far. Also, congratulations to Starleisha Gingrigh! You are the winner of The Limited gift card giveaway! Thank you to everyone who entered and to The Limited for partnering with me on this great giveaway!
